Expression to Production
The Protein Expression pipeline is a three-part series united by a shared focus on making recombinant protein production faster, more informed, and more reliable, from host selection and platform optimization through expression strategies for the most challenging protein targets. Across the symposium and two conference tracks, attendees will explore how smarter platform choices, improved strategies for difficult targets, and AI-driven approaches are collectively expanding what protein expression teams can achieve. The (Re)Discovering Protein Expression Platforms Symposium centers on host selection and platform optimization, covering cell-free systems, informed cell-based host decisions, and computation-guided engineering for improved expression outcomes. The Recombinant Protein Production-Part 1 track focuses on persistently challenging target classes including GPCRs, membrane proteins, intrinsically disordered proteins, and proteins with difficult post-translational modifications. The Recombinant Protein Production-Part 2 track tackles complex therapeutic formats including multispecifics, T cell engagers, cytokines, miniproteins, and difficult biologics, closing with a practical discussion on optimizing protein production workflows for speed, quality, and impact.
